The plateau · Big trees
Buderim's established homes and giant trees make solar a design job, not a cookie-cutter job. Shade analysis, switchboard condition, roof orientation — done properly before a single panel goes up.
Buderim's canopy is beautiful until it shades your north roof at 3pm. I do a real shading assessment — some homes need panel layout worked around the trees, others should use the west face and a bigger battery to compensate.
And plenty of Buderim's 70s-80s builds still run original switchboards. Those get upgraded first — it's the safe, legal order of operations, and I do both.
Tree-shaded Buderim roofs can still work — layout and battery sizing compensate. Honest answer either way.

Often yes, with the right layout and a battery to shift generation to evening use. Sometimes no — and I'll tell you which, free, before you spend anything.
Typically $1,800-$3,500 depending on the board and circuits. Fixed price in writing before any work starts.
If your usage is evenings, battery first: it beats paying 30c+ grid rates with solar you can't use. The calculator models your actual bill pattern.

Tell us what you're paying and what you export. Send four photos — switchboard, meter, inverter and the roof — and we'll come back with an indicative number the that afternoon, then look at it in person before we quote firm. If a battery won't pay for itself at your place, we'll say so.
